JDA Frontline is currently seeking an Account Executive to join our fast-paced and growing public affairs team in Washington, D.C.
JDA Frontline is a veteran public affairs firm with a proven history in helping their clients achieve successful and effective communications and media relations programs. Clients include trade associations, corporations and non-profits facing complex regulatory, legislative and public policy challenges.
This position provides an opportunity to fully utilize your organizational, writing and event coordination skills, while working on large, multifaceted client accounts. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting account leads with daily client needs, scheduling, planning, account coordination, and logistics
Handling media monitoring and assisting with other media activities, as needed
Crafting social media content and plans for clients
Providing support for background research to aid program development
Writing first drafts of communication materials, such as news releases, blogs, fact sheets, presentations and other collateral materials, as needed
Providing planning and onsite logistical support for special events
Supporting business development activities, as needed
The qualified candidate will be creative and driven, with a bachelor’s degree in political science, communications, public relations or similar field. Experience working in government and/or communications is preferred, along with an understanding of Adobe and InDesign.
Strong writing, organization and interpersonal skills are required. A good work ethic and willingness to learn the ins and outs of public affairs are also musts.
